We would like to thank you very much for the quick and efficient manner in which you dealt with the problem of the pump on our geyser-solar heater system, which was cutting out on a regular basis, usually round about midday.

On Tuesday Shane replaced the control box, and it would appear that that has solved the problem. We will contact you again after about a week, if we have some hot days, to confirm that everything is working properly; but early indications are that the pump did not cut out yesterday, and we had a lot more hot water by the end of the day than before.

We are very grateful for the very friendly and professional service we had from Cedric (who serviced the geyser last week) and Shane. We appreciate the promptness with which our problem was attended to, and the way both gentlemen arrived at the time that they said they would. It was a real pleasure interacting with them, and with your company.

After being taken for a ride by a local so-called green solar concern it seems the installation of the heat pump method of energy saving has yet to be perfected in the metro. I would highly recommend Wayne Vermaak of oneSolar Port Elizabeth who managed to correct the original blotched job.

I have recently installed a oneSolar geyser and collector panel. The installation was most professional and the work carried out neatly with no remedial work at all.

I am extremely pleased with the result and can already see the savings in electricity consumption.

"I have been amazed with the solar geyser – consistently, we have used one unit of electricity per day, for the last three weeks – this means 2kW’s per day, or R2.00 per day for the electrical back up element. Temperatures vary from 76 deg C to 45 deg C, depending on useage of the hot water. We are finding that the temperature loss overnight is in the region of 5 – 8 deg. The point has been proved that the bigger storage vessel for ones consumption does in fact make a big difference – at present, we are have one person using water for a kitchen, bathroom basin and shower with a 150L geyser.

As a result of seeing the facts for myself, I am going to pursue a retrofit of a panel for each of my two existing geysers.
